Summer Camp

Your one-time registration fee covers camp for the whole summer, no matter how many weeks you attend.

Summer Camp at River Green Academy is to be broken down into age groups with activities appropriately geared for each group. Activities include:

• Daily activities in the areas of art, science, cooking, drama, and games
• A field trip each week for the older children
• Reading adventures: reading old and new favorite books
• Special in house field trips
• Daily fitness activities
• A visit from the Kona Ice truck each week

• 7:00 Camp room opens
• 7:30-7:45 Morning fitness
• 7:45-8:45 Reading/Writing Journals
• 8:45-9:15 Clean up
• 9:15-9:30 Snack time
• 9:30-10:30 Daily Activity
• 10:30-11:30 Outdoor Activities
• 11:30-12:00 Lunch
• 12:00-1:00 Quiet activities
• 1:00-1:30 Team Building/Large Group Activities
• 1:30-2:00 Arts & Crafts
• 2:30-3:00 Snack Time
• 3:00-3:30 Center Time/Board Games
• 3:30-4:00 Clean up/Close Room/Transition
• 4:00-6:30 Outdoor Activities/Closing

We’re open from 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM, and we sometimes have children here for the entire 12 hour period. However, you do NOT have to have your child here that long each day – our summer camp is perfect for providing children with a few hours of fun and play however and whenever you like! We would like to know your planned drop off and pick up times at registration, however. It helps with staffing! 🙂
